Admission Requirements

We Want You at USF

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum 3.00 GPA in completed college coursework. Some programs may require additional materials, such as test scores, letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose or a resume. If you are unable to take standardized tests such as the GRE or GMAT due to COVID-19, please contact your proposed program of study for possible extensions or waivers.


Campus Selection

On your application, you can select Tampa, St. Petersburg or Sarasota-Manatee as your home campus. No matter where you study, you’ll earn a degree from Florida’s only Preeminent State Research University located in a metropolitan area. Not sure which campus offers your graduate program? Pay the nonrefundable, $30 application fee.


Submit your official college transcript(s) to USF.


Submit any test scores required by your program (GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, etc.).

Standardized tests must have been taken within five years of the desired term of entry.


Submit any additional items required by your program.


Answer the Conduct Clearance questions of the graduate application.
