When you apply, we look at the whole picture: your GPA, the courses you completed in high school, and your SAT or ACT scores. You don’t need to include a personal essay or a letter of recommendation, but these materials can help us understand your personality, goals and any life challenges you’ve overcome.

How to Apply

You can apply to USF in just four easy steps.

STEP 1

Complete and submit the online application at admissions.usf.edu/application.

STEP 2

Pay the nonrefundable $30 application fee or submit an application fee waiver.

STEP 3

Send your official transcript(s) to USF. High School Students: Ask your school to send transcripts to USF electronically. If this option is not available, official transcripts for all three USF campuses should be mailed to:

Scholarships

Although USF offers one of the lowest tuition rates in the country, we strive to reduce the cost of college even further – so you can access an affordable education and graduate with minimal debt, no matter what your background.

Admissions Scholarships

When you apply for admission and submit all supporting documents by Feb. 15, the Office of Admissions will AUTOMATICALLY consider you for merit-based admissions scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $20,000 for in-state students and $2,000 to $48,000 for out-of-state students. There’s nothing else you need to do to qualify.
